The Latrobe Central Group of the CWA recently held a fundraising event that raised $250 for the Breast Care nurse program based at WGH.
Thanks to a local competition held amongst CWA members, numerous women decorated their wearable bras in fanciful items including chicken feathers, pink ribbons, sequins, coins and beads that delighted the many participants and visitors at their recent exhibition.

Judging was open to a public vote by gold coin donation. The event was so successful that the CWA will hold the competition again next February and invite the public to enter a decorated bra.

Funds raised will be used to expand the wig library, purchase headbands, hats and other unique apparel for women that experience hair loss as part of their cancer treatment.
