Please consider participation in this exciting research project titled -

Nursing bereavement care in acute non-metropolitan hospitals

Providing end-of-life care can have significant effects on the subsequent bereavement process for families.

Through participation in this project your experiences of providing end-of-life care will be explored in an attempt to better define the roles nurses have in bereavement care.

Generating role awareness will help facilitate necessary supports to nurses' performing bereavement care and positively impact on the experience of bereavement for families within the region.

This research will also help identify resources available in Gippsland to support families encountering bereavement and identify what resources are necessary to optimise and ensure quality bereavement care.

Please see the attached Participant Information and Consent Form and contact the researcher Anita Raymond (pictured) via: email or phone (03) 5122 6977 for further information on how to participate.
