We want our hospital and community health centres to be accessible to people who have:
Access is more than physical access and ramps. Access also means good signage to find your way around, and written information that is easy to read and understand.
It means having staff who know how to communicate with people who have a disability and have an attitude that is welcoming and respectful.
Bass Coast Health wants to offer excellent service to everyone, including those who have disabilities and difficulties.
If you do not receive the service you think is right for you, please tell us so we can try to improve the service.
Bass Coast Health acknowledges Aboriginal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. We commit to working respectfully to honour their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country.
Many of Bass Coast Health programs are supported by funding from the Commonwealth and State Government.
